This Privacy Policy explains how Mother of the Bride Outfits collects and uses information when you visit this website, contact us or follow links to third-party retailers.

Information we collect

We may collect information that you provide directly, such as your name, email address and message when you contact us. Our hosting, security and administration systems may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, including IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and security events.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to receive aggregate statistics about visits, page views, popular pages, referring websites, broad country, device, browser and page performance. We use this information only to understand and improve this website. We do not use Cloudflare Web Analytics for advertising, affiliate conversion tracking, profiling or identifying individual visitors.

We configure the Cloudflare beacon not to load on any URL containing a query string. This prevents WordPress search terms and campaign or other query values from being sent by the beacon.

Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics beacon does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, fingerprinting or persistent visitor identifiers. A request necessarily reaches Cloudflare from the visitor’s IP address through the ordinary operation of the internet. Cloudflare states that it discards that address at its nearest data centre and does not store it in its core databases or logs. We receive aggregate reports rather than IP addresses or visitor profiles.

Our lawful basis for this limited processing is our legitimate interest in understanding the use, performance and accessibility of our website so that we can improve it. For browser-access purposes, we rely on the statistical-purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. You can object at any time by opening Cookie preferences and switching off Privacy-friendly site statistics.

Cloudflare acts as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum. Cloudflare and its approved subprocessors may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, Cloudflare uses contractual transfer safeguards, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as supplemented by the UK Addendum.

Cloudflare currently states that unsampled beacon events are retained for seven days before data is aggregated and reduced for longer-term reporting, and that Web Analytics dashboard data is available for six months. We use only aggregate reports and periodically review Cloudflare’s retention, purposes, processor terms and subprocessor list.

Google Analytics is separate and optional. We do not load Google Analytics or permit its analytics cookies unless you choose Allow Google Analytics. We also do not load it on URLs containing a query string. If you allow it, Google may process a browser identifier and usage information under its terms. You can withdraw that permission at any time through Cookie preferences.

How we use information

We use information where necessary to:

  • operate, secure and maintain the website;
  • reply to enquiries;
  • understand and improve the website through limited aggregate statistics;
  • meet legal and regulatory obligations; and
  • administer our affiliate relationships where you choose to follow an affiliate link.

Affiliate links and external websites

This website contains links to retailers, affiliate networks and other external websites. We may receive commission if you follow an affiliate link and complete a qualifying transaction. Once you follow an external link, the third party controls its own website and may use cookies or process information under its own privacy policy. Please review that policy before providing personal information.

Who receives information

Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, maintain and measure this website. These include Cloudflare for aggregate Web Analytics and, only with your permission, Google Analytics. Affiliate networks or retailers may receive information when you choose to follow their links. We require service providers acting as processors to handle information only for the agreed services and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, legal and accounting requirements. Contact messages are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain appropriate records. Cloudflare Web Analytics retention is described in the Website analytics section above. Google Analytics data, where you have allowed it, is retained according to our configured Google Analytics retention settings.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

You can object to Cloudflare statistics or withdraw Google Analytics permission directly through Cookie preferences. For other requests, email privacy@emvidor.com.

Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a privacy concern so that we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
